ked by enormous amounts of loans, close to 1 trillion dollars in loans). Students should have a course the first year of college that requires students to do their due diligence on a degree before they commit to anything or take out a loan. Like much of this debate generalizations sweep all the rich (the just and the unjust) into a single target and education is swept into one broad ‘bubble’ that’s about to collapse. The truth is there some people that are justly rich (and have increased everyone’s standard of living) and there are some degrees that are valuable. To say all rich people are bad and all education is bad is one of the worst fallacies you could support.

Very nice infographic. Something that I think will be overlooked until it is too late, is that by taking on all this debt the birthrate among college grads is going to drop dramatically. Would be an interesting thing to keep an eye on going forward…

I’m a student and this info graphic is shocking to say to least. Unfortunately it’s true and a lot of students would’ve been better off working their way up the ladder. If you want to succeed in this competitive environment you’re going to have to do something extra to stand out!
